 Mutts and Crossbreds
« Thread Started on Apr 11, 2007, 10:04am »

Mutts are horses with more than three breeds in their lines. This can happen when

Their sire or dam is a crossbred or mutt, and the other is a purebred, crossbred or mutt.

Just so you know, a crossbred is a horse whos parents were different breeds, but only has 2 breeds in their blood, for an example, if this horse's dam was an Arabian and sire was a Clydesdale, it could be displayed as Clydesdale x Arabian or crossbred. A purebred is a horse with one breed in its blood.
